Kamanna shaheed day today

Today is Kamanna shaheed day.
On this day in 1971, the occupation Pakistan army in collaboration with 'Rajakars' killed 21 freedom fighters at Kamanna village in Shailkupa upazila.
The martyrs are Mominur Rahman, Abdul Kader, Shaidul Islam, Solaiman Ali, Abdur Razzak, Wahed Ali, Riaz Uddin, Alamgir Hossain, Motleb Ali, Ali Hossain, Abdul Malek, Azizur Rahaman, Akbar Ali, Salim Uddin, Hossain Ali, Rashedul Islam, Golzer Ali, Adhir Kumar, Goura Pada, Fanibhusan Kundu and Rongo Bibi.
Freedom fighters have chalked out programmes to pay tributes to the golden sons of the soil. They will place wreath at their graves in the morning which will be followed by a milad mahfil and a discussion at Shailkupa town.
