3 outlaws arrested in Jhenidah

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested three wanted cadres of the outlawed Biplobi Communist Party (BCP) at Ibrahimpur village of Shailkupa upazila in the early hours of yesterday.
Rab also recovered two ultra-modern arms and 11 bullets from their possession.
Wazed Ali Fakir and Mozaffar Hossain of the same village and Mohidul Islam of Tripurakandi village were arrested while holding a secret meeting at a jackfruit garden close to a pond belonging to Azibor Rahman Joarder of Ibrahimpur village.
According to their confessional statement, Rab recovered a rifle and two bullets from Wazed, an SBBL gun and five bullets from Mohidul and four bullets from Mozaffar, Rab said.
