Crimes against women

The news entitled "10 months' nightmare", which was published in the last page of The Daily Star on 6 August 2008, indicates the barbarian attitude towards women in our contemporary society. A woman was allegedly burnt by her (educated!) husband.
This kind of treatment to women must be stopped once and for all. The culprits must be given exemplary punishment.
