Mallik's death anniversary today

Today is the seventh death anniversary of Ataul Haq Mallik, renowned sports commentator and a recipient of the National Sports Award.
He was also a sports reporter, cricket umpire and an international football referee.
Mallik died in a road mishap on this day in 2001.
His younger brother and former general secretary of Bangladesh Sports Writers Association (BSWA) Aminul Haq Mallik and other family members have requested everyone to pray for the peace of the departed soul.
