Extortionist arrested in Benapole

Police yesterday arrested a extortionist with home-made bombs from Benapole Port area.
The arrestee was identified as Rezaul Hasan, second-in-command of detained corruption suspect Nazmul, who is accused in six cases for evading tax.
Sub-Inspector Omar Sharif of Port Police Station said he arrested Rezaul from the port area after an importer of Gulshan area Abul Kalam Talukder had filed a case against Razaul with the port police station, accusing him of demanding Tk 5 lakh as extortion.
