“Shopnomongol” on ATN Bangla tonight

The 31st episode of mega serial Shopnomongol will be aired tonight on ATN Bangla at 8:00 pm. Written by Saiful Bari, the serial is directed by Kamal Khan.
The plot of the serial revolves around the conflict between two completely opposite socio-economic realities of our society. At one side, there are people who are involved in the fierce competition of being rich or richer. They are often detached from the cultural roots. As a result their progeny are growing up in an aggressive, confused and superficial world that mimics the western cultures.
On the other hand, there are those who are trying to preserve and uphold the cultural heritage of the country through their lifestyle. Shopnomongol depicts the stories of individuals representing the two conflicting spectrums of the society.
The cast includes Zahid Hassan, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Rumana, Shams Sumon, Shajal, Prova, Nisho, Saberi Alam, Zahid Hossain Shovon, Nusrat Yasmin Tisha, Mishti, Rahi, Rasel, Tushar Mahmud, Daud Roni, Mahmud Sajjad and Khaleda Akhter Kalpana.
