Ex-JP MP Kamran arrested

Former Jatiya Party lawmaker Kamran Hossain Chowdhury was arrested from his Gulshan residence in the city yesterday in connection with a cheating case.
Gulshan police said they arrested Kamran following an arrest warrant issued by a Rajbari court.
According to the police, the court issued the order as one of his cheques was dishonoured.
The police also produced Kamran before the court that sent him to jail.
