Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) yesterday seized leaflet, posters, letters, books and other documents of the outlawed Janajuddho faction of Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP) in Ishwardi upazila, Rab said.
On information, a Rab team raided a house at Mushuriapara village in the upazila. The house was owned by slain Janajuddho leader Abdur Rashid Malitha alias Dada Topon who was killed in 'crossfire' recently, Rab said. This house was used as the regional office of Janajuddho, they said.
During the raid, Rab recovered the documents of the outlawed party. Rab also recovered comrade boot and belt from the house.
After the raid, the house was sealed off, Rab said.
