Gala event on World Music Day at Sonargaon Hotel

On the occasion of World Music Day, Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka in association with Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) is going to hold "World Music Day - A Super Legendary Star's Day" on June 21 at the grand ballroom.
The announcement was made at a press conference at the hotel, yesterday. Mamoon Mahmood Shah, deputy managing director, EBL; M. Nazeem A. Choudhury, head of marketing, EBL; Humaira Bashir, catering sales manager, Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka; Mohd. Oliullah, assistant director, food and beverage, Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka and Khairul Anwar, chief news editor, ntv were present at the conference.
"The event aims at bringing together eminent music artistes of the country," said Humaira Bashir.
"At the programme artistes will not only perform but will also interact with the audience and share their personal experiences -- performing songs on request and more," said Mohd. Oliullah.
The media partner of the event is ntv and the programme will be aired soon on the channel. Tagore exponent Kalim Sarafi; noted singers Ferdousi Rahman, Sabina Yasmin, Syed Abdul Hadi, Bashir Ahmed and others are expected to attend the event.
