BSF kills 1

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead a Bangladeshi national on Gopalpur border under Moheshpur upazila of Jhenidah district early yesterday.
The victim was identified as Samaul Islam, 25, son of Kitab Ali of Pardakhalpur village under the upazila.
Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) sources said the Indian border guards of Moshwampur camp opened fire on Samaul while he was trying to cross the border near pillar no 49 at around 4:00am. He died instantly.
The BSF men took away the body and did not return it as of 5:00pm yesterday.
BDR in a letter to its Indian counterpart condemned the killing and demanded return of the body.
