Magura criminal Tota arrested

Rab (Rapid Action Battalion) arrested Tayebur Rahman Tota, the chief of infamous “Tota Bahini”, at village Kadirpara under Shalikha upazila of the district early yesterday.
Acting on tip-off, a team of Rab-6 raided the house of Tota at the village at around 2:30am and arrested him.
Police said Tota was wanted in at least eight criminal cases, including three for murder, lodged with Shalikha Police Station in Magura and Baherpara Police Station in Jhenidah.
They said “Tota Bahini” has been involved in criminal activities in different parts of Magura and Jhinidah districts since its formation in 2001.
