Book fair begins in Rajshahi today

A six-day book fair will begin at Rajshahi Collegiate School playground today.
Rajshahi district administration organises the fair.
Eminent literatureur Prof Hassan Azizul Haque will inaugurate the book fair while Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Hafizur Rahman Bhuiyan will present as the chief guest.
The fair will remain open for all from 3:00pm to 8:00pm every day and on holidays from 10:00am to 10:00pm.
Essay and quiz competition for school and collage students, subject based discussion and seminar will also be held during the fair, sources said.
This year 19 stalls were allotted to local publishers and Fine Arts sellers and six stalls were preserve for Dhaka based publishers.
