Patuakhali fishermen not getting money for saving <i>jatka</i>

Poor and jobless fishermen in six upazilas of Patuakhaliu district are yet to receive subsistence money allotted for their survival during the seven months ban on catching jatka.
Under the Jatka Protection Programme, the Department of Fisheries banned fishing of jatka in seven months of the year from November to May, Patuakhali district fisheries office sources said.
