Journos form human chain

Sports Journalists formed a human chain at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday in demand of capital punishment for Abdul Quader Mollah along with all the other on-trial war-criminals.
The journalists held a banner reading 'Hang all the war-criminals' along with placards demanding the harshest penalty to those involved in the worst kind of war crimes, prior to the Grameenphone Bangladesh Premier League match between Sheikh Russel and Mohammedan in the afternoon. Sports organisers and Sheikh Russel players also showed their solidarity by joining the human chain. Later, the journalists lit candles in memory of the millions of martyrs of the Liberation War.
