Withdraw validity limit for Internet service packages

The present government pledged to build a digital Bangladesh when they came to power. Their several measures for digitising the country have all along been admired. During their regime internet communication has been drastically improved. But regrettably, internet bills are not only high but also unreasonable.
At present, all cellular and three wimax companies are providing internet services for general customers. All of them offer packages with limited validity such as daily package, weekly package, and monthly package. For example, most of them offer a monthly package of 1.5 or 2 GB at tk 400. A student like me, who needs internet for academic purposes, is compelled to pay tk 400 each month although my total usage is less than 0.5 GB. Many of my friends use internet for needless purpose, just because they have to finish their usage within the limited time.
This cannot be allowed to continue any more. If the dream of digitisation is to be materialised, then not only the internet has to be made available but also the bills should be reasonable. I would like to draw the attention of the BTRC chairman to this issue. As a viable solution, I suggest withdrawing the validity limit. Then a customer will be able to purchase the proper package and use it as long as possible.
