Becks to donate PSG salary

David Beckham on Thursday said that he would donate his entire salary from a five-month contract at French club Paris Saint Germain to a children's charity, in an unprecedented move from a top footballer.
The 37-year-old, who signed a deal until June 30 with the Ligue 1 leaders, did not divulge how much he would donate nor the name of the organisation but it would be a significant amount.
"That's one of the things that we're very excited about, to be able to give a huge sum to a children's charity in Paris. It's special."
