BOA in a slumber

The Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) is in a deep slumber.
Two months after it elected a new president and a secretary general, the association's letterhead still bears the names of its previous president and secretary general.
An electronic press release from BOA, signed by acting secretary general Ashiqur Rahman Miku, landed on e-mails of media men yesterday, bearing the names of General Abdul Mubeen and Kutubuddin Ahmed as its president and secretary general respectively, who have ended their term two months ago.
The press release informed of the recent visit of Raja Randhir Singh, the secretary general of Olympic Council of Asia, to Bangladesh on January 23 and his handing over an OCA gift to the BOA. The press release, meanwhile, was issued five days after the incident.
