CMC signs MoU with Japanese university

Chittagong Medical College (CMC) and Kobe University's School of Medicine, Japan, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation and collaboration in medical research, academic collaboration and a student exchange programme.
They signed the MoU in a ceremony organised by KEIAI Machizukuri Foundation, Japan, at a local hotel in the port city.
Prof Dr Selim Mohammad Jahangir, principal of CMC, urged the Japanese guests to take an initiative for building a hospital of international standard in Chittagong.
Dr Kazuro Sugimura, director general of Kobe University Hospital, among others, spoke at the programme.
