'Bitarka Bikash' semi-finals held

The semi-finals of the national level debate competition “Bitarka Bikash” was held at Bashundhara City in the capital yesterday.
Kaliganj Karimuddin Public Pilot High School and Chandranath Girls' High School of Sunamganj reached the finals after defeating Mirzapur Secondary School of Khulna and Baliakandi Pilot High School of Rajbari respectively in the semi-finals.
Brac in cooperation with ATN Bangla and Debate for Democracy organised the countrywide debate competition where around 40,000 underprivileged students from 8,000 secondary schools participated.
