Trader shot in capital

Some unidentified miscreants shot a trader in Dholai Khal area of the capital yesterday evening.
The injured Touhid Hossain, 26, owner of Mintoo Motor Parts in the area, lives at Hrishikesh Das Lane under Sutrapur Police Station.
Touhid went to a mosque near from his house to offer Maghrib prayers. Coming out of the mosque, he walked a few steps to return home and got fired by the miscreants.
Local people heard the sound of several shots and found the blood-stained Touhid lying on the ground. They brought him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
DMCH sources said there were three bullet wounds in his left hand, left side of the back and left rib.
Touhid's brother Mohammad Javed told reporters at the DMCH that they have no clue about his brother's killing.
Sutrapur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Rafiqul Islam, quoting locals, said the people only heard the sounds of gun shots but did not see anybody.
