A masters' final-year student of philosophy, Emdadul Haque hit Bishwajit indiscriminately all over even as the victim begged for his life.
Emdadul belongs to the BCL faction led by the JnU unit President FM Shariful Islam. Emdadul directly took part in campus violence over establishing domination and extortion, sources said.
