Strict law to stop food adulteration demanded

Leaders of Bangladesh Juba Union yesterday demanded enactment of strict laws to stop food adulteration and mixing toxic chemicals with food considering their adverse effect on public health.
In a human chain, they also demanded to stop the sale of formalin and other toxic chemicals in open market as well as strict monitoring on import of these chemicals, said a press release.
The human chain was organised in front of Khilgaon Taltala City Super Market in the capital.
