I stay at Gulshan 1. Gulshan has become an area of big apartments. It is almost impossible to stay at home day or night because of the construction noise. The construction companies are very powerful, politically and financially. We went to the police many times to complain about the disturbances they create all day long but it did not work. Police allegedly takes bribe from the construction companies and so the situation remains the same.
These construction firms work all day and night and make deafening noise. They block the adjoining roads with construction materials creating traffic jam on the roads. The roads are getting ruined because every night 10-wheel trucks come here with construction materials. They use high power halogen bulbs at night which are not legal in Bangladesh now.
Police come to the spot at day time and they even help the construction companies to block the road. These are going on for the last six months. We thought that police and local authorities would fix the problem but nothing has happened so far. We need your help.
