Housewife gang-raped in Ctg

A housewife was gang-raped in Bakalia area of Chittagong city Friday night.
The 28-year-old victim, second wife of her husband, was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital's (CMCH) One-stop Crisis Centre yesterday, said sources in CMCH Police Outpost.
Nayek Mohammad Jahangir of the outpost quoting the relatives of the victim told The Daily Star that another wife of the victim's husband borrowed Tk 40 thousand from the victim few days ago.
On the night around 9:30pm, the co-wife of the victim called her to another residence at Kala Mia Bazar assuring her of returning the money.
But she locked her in a room at a dagger's point and three persons identified as Nazrul, 35, Taher, 30, and Mainul, 36, raped the victim, said the police man.
No case has been lodged yet.
