LRB concert at IGCC


Popular rock band LRB will perform at a concert on March 31 evening at the Dhanmondi centre of Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC), High Commission of India. IGCC is arranging the event.
LRB was formed in 1991 by Ayub Bachchu. The original line-up was: Ayub Bachchu (vocals and lead guitar), Saidul Hasan Swapan (bXass), Shahidul Islam Tutul (keyboard and backup vocals) and Joy (drums and backup vocals).
The line-up changed several times. The current line-up, since 2003, includes Ayub Bachchu (vocals and lead guitar), Swapan (bass), Masud (guitar) and Romel (drums).
LRB's debut album (two volumes) came out in 1992. So far the band has released 10 studio albums. Its last album was “Sporsho”, in 2008.
Among many hits, LRB's top songs are: “Cholo Bodle Jai”, “Ghumanto Shohore”, “Rupali Guitar”, “Ghum Bhanga Shohore”, “Hawker”, “Madhobi”, “Ekhon Onek Raat”, “Hashte Dekho” and “Ghor Chhara Ek Shukhi Chhele”.
