Current nets, crude oil of Tk 27.12 lakh seized

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard in separate drives in Lakshmipur and Chittagong seized 40 thousand metres of current net and 2,200 litres of crude palm oil on Sunday and early yesterday.
In a drive, coast guard men on Sunday seized 40,000 metres of current net worth about Tk 22.80 lakh under Kamolnagar Police Station of in Lakshmipur, says a press release.
In another drive, they seized 2,200 litres of crude palm oil along with an engine-run boat worth about Tk 4.32 lakh from No 15 Ghat area under Patenga Police Station in the port city at around 1:00am yesterday.
