Solo photography exhibition of Abu Sayeed Ilias

A three-day solo exhibition featuring works of photographer Abu Sayeed Ilias was held at Ambika auditorium in Faridpur recently.
Hundreds of arresting images on different themes and cultures of various countries including Bangladesh, Indonesia and Thailand were exhibited on the occasion.
The exhibition, titled “Dekhbo Ebar Jogot Takey” was inaugurated by educationist Kazi Zainul Abedin, administrator of Faridpur Zila Parishad.
Among others, Faridpur Municipality Mayor Mahtab Ali; Tagore exponent Professor Altaf Hossain and cultural activist Advocate Sipra Goswami spoke on the occasion.
The speakers described Ilias' photographs as exquisite and stunning. His images depict the beauty of nature, lifestyles of different indigenous communities in different countries, architectural splendour etc.
Abu Sayeed Ilias is a freedom fighter and a life member of Bangladesh Photographic Society (BPS).
He led a Bangladesh team of photographers on behalf of BPS to participate in the International Photographic Assembly at Bali, Indonesia in 2011.
A retired Assistant Commissioner of the National Board of Revenue (NBR), he has a fascination for photography.
