Bahurupi Natya Sangstha stages <b>Agunmukha</b>


Bahurupi Natya Sangstha, a leading drama group of the town staged “Agunmukha” at Shilpakala Academy auditorium on Saturday evening.
Written by eminent playwright Mannan Hira and directed by Shahadat Hossain Khan Hilu, secretary of Bahurupi, the play was the 388th stage performance of the troupe.
The cast of the play included Shahadat Hossain Khan Hilu; Mofiz-un-Noor Khoka, Shahadat HossainSaikat, Subarna Saki Khoshbu, Krishna Talikder and Shahrier Neaz Babu.
Wahab Mahmud Ramzan, Narayan Basak and Rajib Shahrier assisted in light design and background scores. A discussion preceded the show.
The speakers said that patriotism is like a love affair and cannot be narrated only through philosophy and logic.
There are many people who are uncompromising until death though they have to bear untold sufferings and such struggle has carried on down the centuries, they added.
Professor Helalul Islam, president of Bahurupi said that the huge audience at the venue will encourage the troupe to stage more plays in future.
