BNP could've given advice

Instead of demanding an abolition of the ICT, the BNP could have come up with constructive recommendations regarding a fair trial of the war criminals, said Advocate Sultana Kamal, former advisor to the caretaker government.
Those who committed crimes against humanity should be tried because it is the demand of the nation, said Kamal, also a noted human rights worker.
She said the BNP's call to the international community to intervene in the matter was “not decent”, and the party's present stance in the matter might confuse some people, who may interpret its stand as suggesting that it did not want the trial to take place.
