The activists are Ali Hossain, joint secretary of Shiddirganj AL thana unit, Sumon Chakrabarty and another whose details could not be known immediately.
Ali Hossain was fined Tk 30,000 for bringing out a procession in favour of Osman at Kadamtali Shiddirganj under Ward No.7.
The EC fined Sumon Chakrabarty Tk 10,000, for using two loudspeakers in Ward No. 7 to beg votes for Osman. The electoral code of conduct allows only one loudspeaker per ward.
The remaining activist was fined Tk 15,000, for pasting leaflets on a shop in Masdair area.
Meanwhile, Shamim Osman filed a complaint against Selina Hayat Ivy, another frontrunner in the NCC polls, alleging that her activists have been making promises to the minority voters to get their votes.

The three front-runners-- Osman, Ivy and BNP-backed Taimur Alam Khandakar continued their door-to-door campaign yesterday.
