Swapan wins squash title

Swapan Parvez of Basundhara Group became champion of the Digital Auto Care Open Squash-2011 beating Raju Ram of American Club by 11-3,11-4,11-6 points in an exciting final at the Dhaka Club Squash Court yesterday.
Mohit Chauhan of Dhaka Club of Dhaka Club became champion in the A division, Mamun Khondokar of the same team in B division, Iman of Gulshan Club in U-18 division, and Anisul Haque of Dhaka Club in the 45 above division.
Zahid Ahsan Russel , Chairman of national parliamentary standing committee of Youth and Sports, handed over the prizes to winners as the chief guest in the occaison.
The tournament was inaugurated on July 21 at Dhaka Club with 76 players from different clubs of Dhaka, Chittagong & Bagora taking part.
