Shabnam to return to films after 12 years

Veteran actress Shabnam will be seen in a new film after a 12 year long hiatus. Shabnam has agreed to work on the next film directed by Malek Afsari.
The iconic actress was last seen in Kazi Hayat's film “Ammajaan” which also featured the late actor Manna.
Shabnam had said that she'd only do a film if she liked the storyline and if the character offered to her was significant. According to director Malek Afsari, scriptwriter Abdullah Zahir wrote the story considering Shabnam in the central role.
If all goes accordingly, said Afsari, everything will be finalised this week. Shakib Khan is supposed to play the other key role, as son of the character to be played by Shabnam.
