Dwijen, Mostafa win Prothom Alo Best Book of the Year Award

Dwijen Sharma and Ahmad Mostafa Kamal were honoured with Prothom Alo Barshashera Boi (best book of the year) 1413 Award in recognition of their contribution to literature.
Dwijen Sharma received the award for his book titled 'Kurchi Tomar Lagi' while Ahmad Mostafa Kamal for his book titled 'Gharbharti Manush Athoba Noishabdo'.
The ward carries a crest, a certificate and Tk 50,000.
Prof Anisuzzaman gave away the awards to the winners at a function at a city hotel yesterday.
Former chief adviser of the caretaker government Justice Muhammad Habibur Rahman, Advocate Sultana Kamal, Prof Zillur Rahman Siddiqui, Hasnat Abdul Hai, Inam Ahmed Chowhdury, Dr Nazrul Islam, Hayat Mamud, Prof Sakhawat Ali Khan, Prof Sirajul Islam, Nirmalendu Gun, Golam Murshid, AZM Abdul Ali, Prof Ahmad Kabir and Prof Abu Zafr were present at the award giving ceremony.
Prof Syed Manzoorul Islam and Prothom Alo Editor Matiur Rahman spoke on the occasion.
