Rising prices

The commerce Minister's statement from time to time will have little bearing on the minds of common people, comprising 90% of the population of the country. The fact is that the prices of essential consumer products have increased at a geometrical proportion - 60 to 100% and still continue to rise. The common people are groaning under the heels of tremendous price hike.
The sooner the Commerce Minister comes out to solve the problem of price hike the better for the nation. Otherwise, God forbid, a trifling incident may ignite an uprising which will be a spontaneous outburst resulting from simmering discontent of the people. It might set off a chain of reaction that may engulf almost the whole region and cut across party boundaries.
