10 hurt as villagers clash in B'baria

At least 10 people were injured in a clash between two groups of people over a piece of disputed land at Narui village in Nabinagar upazila Saturday.
Police and witnesses said there was a longstanding conflict between Tofael Ahmed and Siraj Miah of the village over the ownership of the land.
They said, an altercation ensued when Siraj and his men tried to take control of a disputed house of Tofael in the afternoon.
Later, both the groups equipped with lethal weapons and sticks attacked each other, leaving 10 people, including Tofael, seriously injured.
The injured were admitted to Sadar hospital.
