NU VC removed

National University (NU) Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Wakil Ahmed was removed yesterday, sources at education ministry said.
Prof VC Prof Rashedul Hasan was given the charge temporarily.
A letter signed by Education Secretary M Mamtazul Islam was issued in this regard, sources added.
Prof Wakil said he has been informed unofficially but did not get any letter.
