Kaya Skin Clinic, a subsidiary of Marico Bangladesh Ltd, yesterday opened its second outlet at Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
The new clinic will provide customised services to consumers, based on their skin needs.
"We inaugurated the second branch as there is a huge demand for our services in Bangladesh," said Soumendra Das, Marico marketing head.
"Since the time our first outlet opened in Gulshan in January, we received a huge response from consumers. So we have opened the second outlet to cater to the growing need," he added.
Kaya will offer a service, Skinscription, where the dermatologist analyses the clients' skin and recommends a specific skin care programme.
"With the opening of this clinic, our customers in Dhanmondi will have easy access to Kaya's services,” said Das.
Rishi Pardal, Marico's country head, said: “The second clinic opening in Dhaka is in line with our expansion plans for Bangladesh."
"We will continue to introduce the latest in technology and world-class products and services for our clients in Bangladesh,” Pardal said.
Kaya entered Bangladesh early this year by launching its first clinic in Gulshan. The cosmetic dermatology chain has 81 clinics across India and 14 in the Middle East. It recently acquired the Singaporean-based medical aesthetics company Derma-Rx.
