Hard reality for Big B

It's the turn of yet another Bollywood Khan to replace veteran Amitabh Bachchan in a reality TV show.
If some years ago, Shahrukh Khan had replaced Bachchan in "Kaun Banega Crorepati", it is going to be Salman Khan who will anchor the popular TV "Big Boss" show next season.
And this will set the stage for a contest between Salman and Bachchan, who will host Kaun Banega Crorepati for another entertainment channel next season, to grab the audience. Both the reality shows will be aired around the same time.
After a great season with Amitabh Bachchan as the host of "Big Boss", the channel hopes Salman Khan will also keep the viewers engrossed.
However, Salman says he is not concerned about the comparison or competition with Amitabh Bachchan.
“I really don't care about that. These comparisons are not in mind.
I just like connecting with my audience, which is why I'm doing more of TV
Programmes,” says Salman.
“For me, television is a way of returning the love and affection which I have got from the audience for the past 22 years. Now, they can get to see me in the comfort of their homes and that too for free”, he says.
Salman's role as the host in "Big Boss" will be different from that of Amitabh. While the veteran actor was a friend, philosopher and guide, Salman is expected to be at his brutally honest and spontaneous best, makers of the TV show.
