Inditex help for relatives of 64 victims

Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) yesterday handed over cheques to the relatives of 64 victims those who were killed in Spectrum Building collapse in April 2005.
A statement said the Spanish retail giant Inditex donated 57,571.50 Euro to disburse to the victims' families.
Labour and Employment Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain was the chief guest at the programme with BGMEA President Abdus Salam Murshedy in the chair.
Sixty-four workers were killed as a building of Spectrum Sweater Industries Ltd collapsed on April 11 in 2005.
