Olympic Day Run held

With festive mood at all five divisional headquarters including the capital, the Olympic Day Run was held yesterday with a slogan of move, learn and discover.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Ahad Ali Sarker inaugurated the Run in Dhaka. It started at the Engineers' Institute in the morning and ended at the Bangabandhu National Stadium followed by a band show.
Later, a blood donation programme in association with Quantum Foundation was also held at the National Sports Council and ten donors were awarded air tickets of Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka through lottery.
Bangladesh Olympic Association president and Army Chief Abdul Mubeen, BOA secretary general Kutubuddin Ahmed, organising committee of the Olympic Day Run Mizanur Rahman Manu were also present on the occasion.
