“Jahur Ali Jahuri” on Ekushey TV

TV serial "Johur Ali Johuri" will be aired on Ekushey TV tonight at 9:30 pm. The serial is aired every Tuesday and Wednesday.
The story follows four families living in Old Dhaka. Jahur Ali Johuri, a jeweller, is the patriarch of one of the families. He is an expert in jewellery, also a palmist on the side.
Hira, Chuni and Panna are Ali's three daughters. Like Hira and Chuni, Panna, an educated young girl, does not believe palmistry and fortune telling.
Other three families are closely related to Ali's family. Old Dhaka lifestyle, heritage and everyday bliss, woes are depicted in the serial. Written by Khalilur Rahman, the serial is directed by Kaiser Ahmed. The cast includes Abul Hayat, Dolly Zahur, Anisur Rahman Milon, Litu Anam, Azizul Hakim, Kusum Sikdar and others.
