Gaddafi made to fold NY tent again

Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's attempt to pitch a Bedouin tent near the United Nations has failed again after officials intervened, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
A building inspector in Westchester, outside New York, ordered the large white tent be taken down shortly after it was erected on a property belonging to real estate mogul Donald Trump, the Post reported.
If confirmed, this would be only the latest setback for the Libyan strongman's attempt to set up a traditional camp.

He is renowned for bringing his own tents on world visits, but has received a hostile welcome in New York, where he was attending the UN General Assembly.

Gaddafi is a hate figure for US politicians and media outlets because of Libya's role in the 1988 Lockerbie airliner bombing and the release by British authorities last month of the sole Libyan convicted in the attack.
The Post published an aerial photograph of the large, manor-style house it said Gaddafi was renting from Trump, with the tent on the lawn.
Trump has so far only confirmed to US media that he was renting out the residence "on a short-term basis to Middle Eastern partners, who may or may not have a relationship to Gaddafi."
Earlier plans by the Libyans to erect Gaddafi's tent in New Jersey, or even in Central Park in Manhattan, provoked loud opposition and fell through.
A demonstration was scheduled against Gaddafi outside the United Nations.
