Shah Abdul Karim hospitalised

The health condition of renowned folk poet Baul Shah Abdul Karim has deteriorated as his breathing problem took a serious turn yesterday morning.
He is kept on artificial life-support system at the Intensive Care Unit, said his physician at the Nurjahan General Hospital here.
It will take 72 hours to ascertain his condition, the doctor added.
The poet was brought to the hospital from his village home in Dhol under Derai upazila of Sunamganj on September 3.
His family members urge all to pray for his early recovery.
