Jubo League activist electrocuted

A Jubo League activist was electrocuted while setting up a loud speaker on the rooftop of the Satbaria High School building for the National Mourning Day programme at Satbaria village in Langalkot yesterday.
The victim was identified as Parvez, 23, son of Shafiqur Rahman.
Local people said Parvez came into contact with a live electric wire while setting up the loud speaker at about 10:00am. He died on the spot.
