Narayanganj 7-murder: Ex-Rab man held in Patuakhali

A Rab member was arrested from Patuakhali on Tuesday over the sensational seven-murder case of Narayanganj.
Narayanganj detectives and local police force arrested the man, Ruhul Amin, 32, a former lance corporal at Bangladesh Army, from Saneshwar area of Baufal upazila in Patuakhali around 5:00am, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.
Ruhul Amin was on deputation at Rab-11 during the time of the seven-murder, the report quoted Naresh Chandra Karmakar, the officer-in-charge of Baufal Police Station.
“He was arrested in a case lodged with the Fatullah Police Station over the seven-murders,” the OC said, adding that the arrestee was taken to Narayanganj.
