Nancy shifted to Labaid hospital

Popular singer Nazmun Monira Nancy, who allegedly attempted to commit suicide by taking sleeping pills yesterday, was shifted to Labaid Specialised Hospital from Dhaka Medical College and Hospital this morning.

Nancy was shifted to the Labaid hospital around 9:00am and has been kept in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Bangla daily Prothom Alo reports quoting her brother Johnny.

Yesterday, Nancy allegedly tried to take her own life by overdosing on sleeping pills at her father's residence at Netrakona town.

She was rushed to Netrakona Adhunik Sadar Hospital by her husband Jahed Hossain around 7:00pm yesterday.

As her condition deteriorated, she was shifted to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital. She was shifted to the DMCH early today.
