Myanmar Army team arrives in Dhaka

A delegation of Myanmar Army arrived in Dhaka yesterday.

The team headed by Maj Gen Than Soe, vice adjutant general of the army, is comprising six physicians, 23 footballers, 17 volleyball players, and two army officers, said an ISPR press release.

Than Soe will discuss bilateral interests with Gen Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan, Bangladesh Army chief; and Maj Gen Ashraf Abdullah Yussuf, adjutant general.

Before leaving Sunday, he will visit different institutions including Armed Forces Medical College, the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, and Bangladesh Military Academy.
