The DSC Prize for South Asian Literature which was instituted by Surina Narula and Manhad Narula in 2010 is a leading international literary prize specifically focused on South Asian fiction writing. The partnership with the Dhaka Literary Festival, a leading literature festival in the South Asian region, brings in significant positive synergies to further the cause of South Asian writing. The five member international jury panel which is adjudicating the books as well as the 5 or 6 shortlisted authors (the shortlist would be announced in end September in London) would attend the DSC Prize 2017 Award Ceremony on November 18th in Dhaka.

We announced the DSC Prize 2015 winner in Jaipur, India and the DSC Prize 2016 winner in Galle, Sri Lanka, and in continuation of this tradition we are now happy to announce the DSC Prize 2017 winner at the Dhaka Literary Festival in Bangladesh"
