2017: Pairing comfort with fashion
Men's fashion has slowly become bolder over the years and 2017 has been predicted to be following that very same scale upwards. Fashion gurus have said that men will be tilting towards a more relaxed look. Tailored double breasted jackets will become a men's staple as it will allow breathability, comfort and flexibility. Along with that, trousers with wider hems will also come into the picture since it will allow it to be worn more easily and add comfort as mentioned before.
Pastels will become a more likely colour range. Such subtle colours will be seen on crewnecks during the start of this year for example. I myself am very excited for this predicted trend and will get my first crewneck sweater of such a soft colour.
"It takes a man to wear pink" will be seen off, while "Men wear pink" will headline everywhere this year. Pink of all shades will become a craze among men as you will see men wearing pink linen shirts during summer or a brilliant pink patterned tie matched with a white shirt and black suit or even light pink shorts will enter the men's style scene.
Military shirts are slowly crawling into the picture. The concept of such attire is efficiency. You will be able to store more items in your clothes keeping in mind the style factor.
Now that we are done with the predictions made by top class fashion aficionados, I would like to take the floor to add some of my own predictions for the New Year.
I believe that converse will take the centre stage with colours tilting toward grey. Where can you find such good quality converse? Lotto Bangladesh!
Another style that will be widely seen among men is chinos sweatpants. Towards the end of 2016, we have seen chino sweatpants taking over since people now opt for something which is slightly dressier with a casual approach.
The crystal ball has spoken and it says that 2017 will be a year focusing more on comfort, efficiency and lightweight and subtle coloured fabrics. If you are thinking of planning ahead and buying out a set of clothes for the year, take this advise and I promise that you will not be disappointed.
