Rise Dhaka is back this fall to usher in a new wave of live music. Open Mic series has already established itself as one of the most exciting musical events in Dhaka. In the spirit of promoting new and undiscovered talent, Rise Dhaka continue to host the Open Mic. Anyone is welcome to perform and grace the stage.
Performers can sign up on the day of the event, on a first come first serve basis. BluesBerry Jam (8:30 PM - 9:30 PM) previously known as the RiseDhaka house band will present their first ever performance where they are a featured name act.
Covering songs from the last 50 years, their set will take you from the roaring '60s to the modern era, on a musical adventure of classic, hard, grunge, pop, funk and blues rock!
Tickets, priced Tk 300 (includes a complementary soft drink) will be available on site at Cuppa Coffee Lounge.
Purnava Egg Fest

Purnava has been working in non-medicated natural products for some time now. One of their more popular products is Purnava Omega 3 eggs. The importance of eggs is often misunderstood, and not many people are even aware that there is a World Egg Day, observed on 13 October. In the current context when children are more attracted to unhealthy meals than nutritious ones, eggs can bridge that gap.
The objective of the daylong celebration by Purnava is to create a positive, scientific image of egg, busting myths. The event will have kiosks offering healthy foods, dishes made from eggs, healthy drinks, desserts, etc.
There will be also be provisions for basic medical check-ups; book reading sessions, yoga sessions conducted by Anika Rabbani, Magic show by Asgar; puppet shows: a drama on nutrition, Clay Station, art station and much more.
Jete Chao? Presents Cookups Bakers' Street

This fall make your Friday more fun filled by checking out "Jete Chao?" and Cookups' event — Bakers' Street. The event will feature an array of delicious baked sweet and savoury goods courtesy of the home cooks of Cookups, including promotion of art, music, books and unique, handmade crafts.
To make this day even more exciting, there will be a competition and food tasting powered by Spice FM and a musical performance at the end of the evening.
